Lensbaby Project {March}

It's my favorite time of every month, the Clickinmoms lensbaby blog circle!  This month the group did not have a theme, which was great for me. I could not focus this month on any particular idea. I tried flowers, a singular color, macro rings, my pin hole glass accessory.  No single session worked out well enough for a complete blog post.  Some were epic failures.  In the end I managed a few presentable images.

I told my husband I should call it my artistic portfolio because I am posting all my moody emotions through photography.
He said I can call it my political portfolio because my previous statement is an extreme stretch of the truth.

Oh well, enjoy the art!

Moody Flowers

Moody Weather

Lastly a very short slide show (0:17) of a random walk through the woods with my lensbaby.  It's not moody.

I hoped you enjoyed the artistic assortment of photos this month.  Please continue through our circle and check out the ultra talented Philadelphia Photographer, Lucy Baber Photography

Sad Flowers

There is a long running joke that if I ever attempted fine art the result would only be shots of "sad leaves."  I recently had a personal health issue/tragedy.  The details of the event are not important, but know that it was unexpected and caused some concerns.  In the aftermath I have been sent a few bouquets of flowers to help cheer me up while I recuperate.  While I am stuck in my Florida dwelling on bedrest, I can't help but want to photograph their beauty.  I am sharing the results because my husband had to point out they look like "sad flowers." I didn't know such a flower existed, but I did chuckle at the thought. My first attempt at artistic flora turned out moody and sad. Perhaps it is just a reflection of my mood this week. Hopefully it is not a sign of all artistic photos to come.
