2012: The Year of the Wedding Part 1

I think it is safe to say that 2012 was The Year of the Wedding in the Fischer household.  We attended three weddings this year, and each wedding represented a very important relationship for either myself or my spouse. The first wedding was in Columbus, Ohio for Katie and Teddy. Katie is my husband's college friend.  They became very close during college.  Katie was a groomswoman in our wedding and my husband a bridesman for her.  These may not be the technical terms, but I was unable to find a term approved by Dear Abby for this situation. We flew from Tampa, FL to Columbus, OH for the big event. Katie was the perfect bride. She planned a wedding that was both fun for guests and reflected her (and her now husband's) personal story.

Love this bouquet! She actually went to garage sales and antique stores looking for old enamel brooches.  So creative! 

 

Yup, it was a pretty aristocratic event.
